Your business is now set up. Here's how to get the most out of it — in plain English.
Do these 5 things first ✅
Takes about 10 minutes. Do this before anything else.
- 1Add your profile photo or logoGo to Dashboard → My Profile → upload your logo. Clients trust a profile with a real photo.
- 2Write a short bio about yourselfTell clients where you work, what you specialise in, and how long you've been doing it. 2-3 sentences is enough.
- 3Add your services and pricesList what you do and what you charge. Even a rough price helps clients decide to contact you.
- 4Add your certificationsNESC, John-D, MIC — whatever you have. Clients look for this before they call.
- 5Share your profile linkGo to Dashboard → My Profile → "View public profile" — copy that link and send it to anyone who asks about your work.
Setting up your profile
Step 1Where to find it
Dashboard → My Profile (in the left menu)
Upload your logo or photo
Tap the upload area at the top of the profile page. JPG or PNG, under 2MB. This shows on your public page and your business card.
Write your bio
Keep it simple. Where you're based, what you do, how long you've been doing it. Example: “San Fernando electrician with 12 years experience. Full house wiring, panel upgrades and generator hookups.”
Add your services
List each service and a price. You can say “from TT$X” if it varies. Example: “Panel upgrade — from TT$1,200”
Set your availability
At the top of your profile, set yourself as Available, Busy, or On Holiday. Clients can see this before they contact you. Change it anytime in one tap.
Go to Dashboard → Business Card (or visit your-name.verifiedprostt.com/card). This is a full-screen page you can show clients on your phone or share on WhatsApp. It has your QR code — when they scan it, they go straight to your profile.
Sending invoices
Step 2Where to find it
Dashboard → Invoices→ tap “New invoice”
The simple version (Foundation plan)
Enter your client's name, their WhatsApp number, describe the job, and enter the amount. Tap Send. They get a professional PDF invoice on their WhatsApp immediately.
Cost: TT$10 per send. Elite members send for free.
The full version (Professional & Elite)
Add labour hours with hourly rates, materials and parts with quantities, VAT at 12.5%, payment terms, and your bank details. Your client gets an invoice that looks like it came from a proper company.
Once you mark an invoice as Paid, the button changes to “Send Receipt.” Your client gets a receipt — not another invoice. If it's overdue, the button says “Send Reminder.” The app knows what to send. You just tap.

If a client doesn't pay, we automatically send reminders on day 1, day 3, and day 7 — straight to their WhatsApp. You don't have to do anything. You can turn this off per invoice if you've made a private arrangement.
Requesting a deposit

Dashboard → Deposits→ tap “New deposit request”
Before you buy any materials — request a deposit
Never spend your own money on materials until a client has confirmed they're serious. Send them a deposit request on WhatsApp. They transfer the money, you get notified, then you start the job.
Enter the client's details and job description
Their name and WhatsApp number.
Enter the total job value and deposit amount
Tap [25%], [33%], or [50%] buttons to auto-calculate. Or type the deposit amount manually.
Tap Send
Client gets a WhatsApp with your bank details and the reference number. You get notified when they confirm payment.
Mark it as paid when the money arrives
Tap “Mark as paid” on the deposit. Client automatically gets an official receipt. Now you can buy materials with confidence.
Marcus Joseph Electrical has requested a deposit before starting your job.

Deposit required: TT$3,000 (50% of TT$6,000 total)

Change orders — extra work, in writing
Step 4Where to find it
Dashboard → Change Orders→ tap “New change order”
Or: Dashboard → Jobs → tap “+ Change order” on any active job
Client asks for extra work? Get them to say YES first.
You opened a wall to fix a pipe and found rotten trunking. The client says “fix it.” You do the work. At the end, they say “I never agreed to that price.”
A change order stops this. Send it on WhatsApp before you start the extra work. Client replies YES. That's your protection.
If a client disputes the extra cost, you need written proof they agreed. A WhatsApp change order is that proof.

Checking a client before you start
Step 5Where to find it
Dashboard → Clients → enter a phone number
Know who you're dealing with before you spend a cent
Before you take on any job, type the client's phone number into the client lookup. If you've worked with that number before, you'll see the history — how many invoices you sent, how many they paid, and how long it took.
If you've had a problem with a number, you can log a private flag. Only you can see it.
Your client history and flags are only visible to you. Nothing is shared publicly. It's your own private record of who pays and who doesn't.
Quick payment request
Need TT$500 for materials right now? Tap the “Quick pay request” button on your dashboard home screen. Enter the amount and what it's for. Client gets a WhatsApp with your bank details. Done in 30 seconds.

Dashboard → Verification. Upload: Government ID, Trade certificate, Business registration, Insurance certificate, 3 portfolio photos, 2 customer references.

We'll call you within 24 hours to confirm your details and arrange a brief field visit. This is what makes the badge mean something.
Badge goes live
Once approved, your green Verified badge appears immediately on your profile and in the directory.
